Discover memoQ 9.0

memoQ 9.0 supports the new Microsoft Translator API v3, and contains a new plugin for Mirai/COTOHA Translator, a Japanese machine translation service. The plugins for Crosslang and KantanMT have also been updated.

The Document import options window was completely reworked with the user experience and workflow in mind. And on top of being more handy and useful, it also looks really cool!

The web interface of memoQ TMS, called memoQweb (legacy), is undergoing a redesign. The first parts are now available, allowing project management, basic TM and TB management, and administration.

In the translation editor, URLs in the term-level and entry-level metadata in the Translation results list are now clickable.

memoQ TMS's Web Services API and Resources API now offer more terminology-related functions.

A new page in Server Administrator lets admins check how much space memoQ TMS is using. This is especially useful for memoQ TMS cloud subscribers, but all server owners can benefit from the data.

If errors during a memoQ TMS upgrade prevent the server owners from working, they can roll back to their previous version.

Version 9.0 brings significant changes to memoQ's system requirements. So that we are able to concentrate our efforts more efficiently on improving our product, we are letting go of supporting 32-bit installations. Also, for improved user experience and security, memoQ 9.0 requires version 4.7.2 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.

Also, project managers will need to upgrade their memoQ desktop app to be able to manage projects on memoQ TMSs of version 9.0. But the good news is that all minor versions of memoQ 9 project manager edition will be fully compatible with all minor versions of memoQ TMS 9!
