  1. Melden Sie sich bei memoQweb als Administrator an.

  2. On the left sidebar, click the Administration Admin icon. icon.

  3. On the Administration screen, click the Benachrichtigungen Notifications icon. button. The Benachrichtigungen screen opens:

Möglichkeiten

Every time a new user registers with an external identity provider, memoQ TMS sends an email notification to their address.

Under E-Mail-Adressen der Empfänger hinzufügen, enter users' email addresses separated by commas, semicolons, or spaces. Zum Bestätigen: Klicken Sie auf Add.

To send emails to new users: First, in the Server-Administrator, on the Konfiguration und Protokollierung page, configure their email settings.

Under Nachricht, enter your message and click the Nachricht hinzufügen button. It appears on the sign-in page, under the Anmelden button:

Below there's the message admin can add for the users.

To remove the message: Under the text box, click the Nachricht entfernen link.

  1. In the Nachrichtenübertragung section, under Nachricht, in the large box, type your message.
  2. Under Nachricht planen, choose the Sofort option.
  3. Klicken Sie auf Broadcast.

A scheduled broadcast message will be shown on the users' screens from the time you choose either until they dismiss it, or until the end time you choose.

  1. Under Nachricht, in the large box, type your message.
  2. Wählen Sie die Option Geplant. In the Von boxes, set a date and a time.
  3. In the An boxes, set a date and a time. It must be later than the Von date and time.
  4. If you want users to see the message when they close memoQ, check the On exit check box.
  5. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Broadcast.

The three previous broadcast messages are listed in the Verlauf section. Under each message's text, you can see the below info:

  • Erstellt: The date when this message was created.
  • Geplant: From and to date/time. Only if the message was scheduled.
  • Beim Schließen anzeigen: Only if the message was displayed when the users closed memoQ.
  • Sofort: Only if the message was displayed instantly.

To see all messages: Under the Letzte Broadcasts list, click the Alle Broadcasts anzeigen link. Das Fenster View all broadcasts wird angezeigt.

To edit and send messages again: In the row of the message, click the Bearbeiten  icon. OR, in the Alle Broadcasts anzeigen window, click the Bearbeiten link under the message. Make the changes you need in the Nachricht box above. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Broadcast. The changes overwrite the old message.

To delete a message: In the row of the message, click the Löschen icon-delete icon. OR, in the Alle Broadcasts anzeigen window, click the Löschen link under the message.

To delete all messages: Under the Letzte Broadcasts list, click the Alle löschen link. OR, in the Alle Broadcasts anzeigen window, click the Alle löschen link above the list.

To tell memoQweb when to delete broadcast messages: Under Alle Broadcast-Nachrichten löschen, choose:

  • Sofort: Instant messages are deleted right after being sent, and scheduled messages after their An date.

  • Automatisch nach N Tagen: Messages are automatically deleted after they reach the set value. The minimum allowed value is 1, the maximum is 1000. The default value is set to 1000 days.

  • Niemals: Messages are not deleted automatically.

To confirm changes: Klicken Sie auf Anwenden.

Notification emails can take up a lot of space in memoQ server's database. You should regularly clean up old emails so that they do not add too much to your database size.

memoQ TMS cleans up old notification emails in batches of 50 emails.

Start an immediate one-time cleanup:

You can clean up old emails immediately so that database backups take up smaller space and memoQ TMS works faster. To do so:

In Benachrichtigungs-E-Mails löschen, die älter sind als X Monate: Choose the number of months from the dropdown list.

Zum Bestätigen: Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Jetzt löschen. The button turns gray and will say In Bearbeitung.

The cleaning starts immediately in all the online projects in the memoQ TMS (in batches of 50 emails).

To stop this process: Klicken Sie auf den Link Stop.

Stopping the cleanup process means that the latest batch that has already been started, will be cleaned up. But the cleanup of the next batch will not start.

Schedule notification cleanup:

Aktivieren Sie unter Geplantes Löschen das Kontrollkästchen Benachrichtigungs-E-Mails regelmäßig löschen, die älter sind als X Monate.

Select the number of months after which you want to clean up notifications.

In the Löschvorgang täglich starten um box: Set the time when memoQ should start cleaning up.

Zum Bestätigen: Click Apply.

The cleaning up of email notifications in all the server projects will regularly run from the configured date and time.
