Discussions > Start topic

Here is where you can start a new topic for users to discuss.

How to get here

1. Sign in to memoQweb.
2. On the left sidebar, click the Discussions  icon. The Discussions page opens.
3. In the top right corner, click the Start a topic button.
   

What can you do?

Start a topic about a project, term base, or custom board

In the Board type section, choose Project, Term base, or Custom board. From the dropdown, choose the project, term base or custom board.

In the Topic details section, fill in the required text boxes:

Under Summary, enter a summary of the topic's purpose in a few words. The summary will be the topic's main identifier.

Under Issue, enter a short description of the issue.

Under Suggestion/answer, enter your suggestion for the issue, if you have one.

Under Source language and Target language, choose a source and target language from the dropdowns.

Under Assigned to, choose a user from the dropdown.

When you are done, click the Start topic button at the bottom. To not create the topic, click the Cancel link.
