Import InDesign files with the file extension *.indd into memoQ using Language Terminal. Language Terminal uses an InDesign server (for CS 7) to convert InDesign files into MQXLZ files which can be imported and translated in memoQ.

How to begin

In the Translations pane of Project home, choose Import > Import with options button on the Documents ribbon tab, and in the Open dialog, locate and select an INDD file. memoQ detects this file extension, and chooses the IDML filter for import.

Options

A new InDesign documents tab appears in the Translations pane. The INDD files is uploaded to Language Terminal, converted and added to your project.

Use Language Terminal to convert your MQXLZ files back to the InDesign format (INDD, IDML or INX).
