You can back up and restore your projects using the Dashboard or the Manage projects dialog. When you back up a project, memoQ also makes a copy of all resources (translation memories, term bases, LiveDocs corpora, and light resources) that are used in the project. You can choose to back up to a location on your computer or to Language Terminal.

To back up a project, follow these steps:

1. In the Dashboard, select the project you wish to back up, then choose Restore on the Project ribbon tab. Alternatively, click the Backup selected link below the project list in the Manage projects dialog.

2. The Backup selected projects dialog appears:

Choose the Store backup online in Language Terminal option. If you want to store the backup file on your computer, choose Save backup to a file, then browse to a location where you want to save the backup file.

Note: You need to be signed in to your Language Terminal account to back up your project there.

Click OK to back up your project in Language Terminal. Click Cancel to cancel the back up process.

3. If you are not already signed in, sign in to Language Terminal at www.languageterminal.com. Navigate to Project backups. In the Backup file name section, you see your project backed up as *.mqbkf file. For further information, see the Language Terminal help.
