You can create a project from a project template. Project templates are light resources. You can only choose a template before you create the project, and only if you specifically intended to create the project from a template in clicking the Create local project from template or Create online project from template link.

How to begin

On the Project ribbon, click New Project, and from the drop-down menu, choose New Project From Template.

Online project: To start creating an online project, choose New Online Project From Template instead. Before you do that, make sure you connect to your memoQ server on the Dashboard, in the server selection box. You will need the project manager edition of memoQ to do that.

On the Project ribbon, next to the New Project icon, memoQ lists the available templates. If you click the name of a template, memoQ will start creating a project using that template.

Once you click any of the template commands, or a template name, the Create new project from template wizard will start.

Step 1: Choose source documents or connect to a content source

Step 2: Choose template, language pair, and project details

Navigation

Click Finish to create the project. Click Cancel to return to the Dashboard without creating a project.
