Customize tag shortcuts |
You can insert new inline tags in the translation. (These are not copied from the source text.) If you need to insert a tag many times, you can use the keyboard to do it. In this window, you can set up the keys to insert custom inline tags. Tag shortcuts are part of a keyboard shortcut set: The tag shortcuts are saved together with a keyboard shortcut set. To make them work, select the keyboard shortcut set in Options / Keyboard shortcuts. How to get hereOpen Options, and choose Keyboard shortcuts. Edit the keyboard shortcut set where the tag shortcuts must go. In the Customize memoQ shortcuts window, click the Inline tags link. (Normally, the window is empty. The screenshot contains an example.) What can you do?Add a shortcut for a new inline tag: 1.Type the tag in the Tag box. Use the full XML notation: for example, type '<strong>' or '<br/>'. 2.Type a friendly name for this tag. 3.Choose if this is a tag pair (for example, '<strong>...</strong>') or an empty tag (for example, '<br/>'). 4.Click the Assign shortcut box, and press the key shortcut (for example, Ctrl+Alt+F) for the tag. 5.Click the green plus sign next to the Assign shortcut box. 1.Select the tag in the list at the top of the window. 2.Change the settings you need. 3.Click the blue Save icon. 1.Select the tag in the list at the top of the window. 2.Click the red X. When you finishClick Save. memoQ returns to the Customize memoQ shortcuts window. To return to the Customize memoQ shortcuts window, without saving the new shortcuts: Click Close.
