You can export embedded objects separately. If you click on a file in the document list of the Translations pane which was originally an embedded object, memoQ exports it with its own file type filter as a standalone file. The export path rules are then the same as for any other file; by default it is exported to the same folder as its parent document. The file gets its own file extension. For example, the embedded object is a DOCX file, then the exported file is a DOCX file.

If you export a parent file, memoQ also exports all child objects (embedded object documents) and embeds them in the parent file. Your exported parent file will contain the translations of your texts and the localized embedded objects.
