If you are using memoQ in a server environment, your system consists of the following main building blocks:

memoQ server is the central piece with a SQL server as database server. memoQ clients can connect to the memoQ server, but they can also be used as standalone workstations.

qTerm and WebTrans belong to the memoQWeb products and use memoQ server as the underlying database. Our memoQWeb products support HTTP and HTTPS encryption when you access them via your web browser. Further information on qTerm and WebTrans can be found on our website.

The memoQ server APIs are web services (SOAP). They can be used to connect memoQ server to a CMS or a project management system.
