Before you can activate and use memoQ on your virtualization servers, you need to acquire a serial number, and a CAL license pool for that serial number. The license pool always contains a specific number of licenses for the translator pro and/or the project manager edition.

The number of licenses determines how many instances of memoQ you can run on the server at the same time. Note that the licenses are not assigned to specific users: memoQ restricts the number of simultaneous instances only.

To acquire a CAL license pool, contact Kilgray at http://kilgray.com/company/contact. You can either purchase a license pool, or obtain a time-limited trial license.

Important: To distribute CAL licenses in your organization and on your terminal server, you need a memoQ server that hosts your CAL license pool.
