LQA (Linguistic Quality Assurance) |
LQA stands for Linguistic Quality Assurance and is a new light resource in memoQ. The LQA process is a manual one, performed by the reviewer. With this feature, the reviewer can document the translation quality in detail. memoQ comes with pre-defined models: LISA, J2450, the memoQ QA model and the 2 TAUS models (TAUS error typology, which is similar to the LISA model, and TAUS fluency and adequacy for MT post editing). The LQA settings contain two sections: •the actual LQA model defining the specific error categories, subcategories and severities •the threshold of when a review fails or passes
