Under Locations, you can check or change the locations of memoQ folders. These are the folders where memoQ places local projects and checkouts, translation memories, term bases, and others. You may need to change these if you are running low on disk space on your default drive.

Do not change memoQ folders unless it is absolutely necessary; for example, when you are running low of disk space. Even then, it may make more sense to back up projects, and delete the ones you no longer need.

Do not place memoQ folders on network drives. memoQ does not support this, and you may start having problems.

Careful with synchronized cloud storage: If you place these folders in synchronized locations (local copies of Dropbox, Onedrive etc.), memoQ may become slower.

Existing projects and folders will not be moved: If there are already projects and resources on your computer, they stay where they are. If you change the folders, memoQ will use them for new projects and new resources only.
