With the Import package wizard, you can import the content of a package into an existing project.
In memoQ 11.4, you can import documents from memoQ (.mqout) or SDL Studio (.sdlppx) packages.
How to get here

On the Project ribbon, click the bottom part of the Import package button.

In the menu, click Import package into an existing project.

An Open window opens. Find the folder where the package file is, and double-click the file.

In the Select a project window, click a project, and click OK.
What projects are listed here? The ones where the source languages are the same, and project's target languages include all the package's target languages..

What can you do?

On the Package details page, you can see the documents in the package, and change the package name under which the documents will appear in the project.
Package names must be unique: memoQ warns you if a package with the same name was already imported. In this case, change the name.

On the Translation memories page, you can see the TMs in the package, and for each one, choose what to do with it:

Do not import: memoQ ignores the package TM's content.

Create new: memoQ imports the package TM's content into a new, empty memoQ TM.

Import into TM: memoQ imports the package TM's content into an existing memoQ TM. A new window appears. Select the memoQ TM from the Project or Local (for online projects: Server) tab.
To choose the same action
for all TMs: In the lower left corner of the window, click the Change all import options at once link.

On the Term bases page, you can see the TBs in the package, and for each one, choose what to do with it:

Do not import: memoQ ignores the package TB's content.

Create new: memoQ imports the package TB's content into a new, empty memoQ TB.

Import into TB: memoQ imports the package TB's content into an existing memoQ TB. A new window appears. Select the memoQ TB from the Project or Local (for online projects: Server) tab.

for all TBs: In the lower left corner of the window, click the Change all import options at once link.

If you import a memoQ package, the LiveDocs corpora page also appears. Here you can see the LiveDocs corpora in the package, and for each one, choose what to do with it:

Do not import: memoQ ignores the package corpus's content.

Create new: memoQ imports the package corpus's content into a new, empty LiveDocs corpus.

Import into LiveDocs corpus: memoQ imports the package corpus's content into an existing LiveDocs corpus. A new window appears. Select the corpus from the Project or Local (for online projects: Server) tab.
To choose the same action
for all LiveDocs corpora
: In the lower left corner of the window, click the Change all import options at once link.

If you import a memoQ package, the Light resources page also appears. Here you can see the Name, Type, and Language of each light resource in the package. Check the checkbox of those resources that you want to import.
The Import action column shows what happens to the resource. In most cases, the imported resource replaces the current one in the project. But the project's primary ignore list is never replaced. memoQ imports the new ignore list as a reference resource.
When you finish
To import the contents of the package into the project: Click OK.
To close the wizard and not import anything: Click Cancel.
