My tasks - Package tasks

You may receive tasks in packages. To complete these tasks, you need to download the package, import it in your copy of memoQ, and translate the documents in the package. When the translation is finished, you need to export a delivery package, and upload it back to memoQwebtrans.

To use packages, you need to have memoQ installed on your computer.

This page shows the project packages that project managers assigned to you on the memoQ TMS.

How to get here

  1. You receive a web address (URL) from your customer. Open this address in a web browser. Normally, this will look like https://memoqserver.company.com/memoqweb or https://memoqserver.company.com/memoqweb/webtrans.

  2. Sign in with the user name and password you received from your customer.

    Faster after first time: If you open memoQwebtrans for the first time - or for the first time after a longer period -, it may take longer to open.

  3. If memoQweb does not show the webtrans page, click the webtrans icon on the left sidebar. The webtrans page opens, with the list of documents that were assigned to you in online projects.

  4. At the top of the screen, under My tasks, click Package tasks. You will see the packages you can work on in online projects.

What can you do?

Find and download a package

The packages are grouped by project. In the package's row, click the Download icon-download icon on the right. Save the package.

See statistics for a task

To see the latest statistics report for the task (if there is one): Click the Statistics icon-stats icon.

Search for a document. Search for a package. Filter or sort the list.

To search the list: Type something into the search bar above the list. Press Enter. If the text you typed can be found in some packages' or documents' name, the list will only show those. If the text you typed can be found in some documents' or assigned user's name, the list will only show those. To see the whole list again, click the X icon at the end of the search bar.

memoQweb does not know the documents in packages you did not download yet. You can only search for project name in this case.

To filter the list: Click the Filter icon-filter icon in the dropdown that says Show all. Choose a status from the list:
