memoQ TMS deployment tool

These are the help pages for the memoQ Server Deployment Administration program.

These pages are meant for systems administrators and IT managers who are responsible for setting up and maintaining a memoQ TMS system.

Using this program, you can install and manage memoQ TMS, memoQweb, customer portal, content connector, and the legacy CAL server product.

These pages supersede the Installing and managing memoQ TMS manual. In case of differences, the help pages are authentic.

Make sure you plan before you do anything

Before you install memoQ TMS, memoQweb, customer portal, or memoQ content connector, make sure you carefully plan your system.

How to get here

For the first time:

  1. Log in to the memoQ TMS computer through Remote Desktop.
  2. Download the memoQ TMS setup package from our Downloads page: Click the orange Download button, and in the memoQ TMS row, click the Download link.
  3. When the download is complete, launch the file you downloaded.
  4. Windows may ask you to confirm to run the file. Click Yes or Run.
  5. The memoQ TMS deployment tool is installed on the server.
  6. The memoQ TMS Deployment Administration window opens. You need the topmost section (memoQ TMS):

If memoQ TMS, memoQweb, or customer portal is already installed:

  1. Log in to the memoQ TMS computer through Remote Desktop.
  2. Open the Start screen or the Start menu: Press the Windows key.
  3. Type memoQ, and wait for the results to appear.
  4. In the list, click memoQ TMS Deployment Administration.
  5. Windows may ask you to confirm to run the program. Click Yes or Run.
  6. The memoQ TMS Deployment Administration window opens. You need the topmost section (memoQ TMS):

  1. Log in to the memoQ TMS computer through Remote Desktop.
  2. Open the Start screen or the Start menu: Press the Windows key.
  3. Type memoQ, and wait for the results to appear.
  4. In the list, click memoQ Server Deployment Administration.
  5. Windows may ask you to confirm to run the program. Click Yes or Run.
  6. The Deployment window opens.

What can you do?

You can install and configure memoQ TMS, memoQweb, customer portal, and memoQ content connector.

The section about the legacy CAL Server is removed. This product is now retired. If you are still using it, contact memoQ sales.

When you finish

  1. Make sure that all installation windows are closed.
  2. Close the Deployment window.
  3. Log out from the Remote Desktop connection to the server computer. (Do not just disconnect, log out properly.)
