You can check out a project in read-only mode.

How to begin

Right click in the Dashboard, and choose Read-Only Checkout.

You can also check out an online project in clicking the Check out icon. Check the check box to check out a read-only copy:

The read only checkout does the following:

1.Creates a local project with the same name as the online project.

2.Includes all the online resources that the online project uses, and all the online project’s documents.

3.However, the project that is now created is a true local project, with no synchronization at all.

4.memoQ will not know that the project is already checked out, i.e. if you want to do a proper checkout of the online project, it is possible.
