This ribbon tab divides into 5 sections. The majority of these commands are also available on the Translation ribbon tab, but are grouped together on the Review ribbon tab to help you reviewing.

Comments and Proofing section:

Comments: Displays a popup window where you can add a comment to the current segment, or edit the existing comment. Double-clicking the bubble icon or the icon next to the segment has the same effect. Default shortcut key: Ctrl+M. To delete a comment, simply remove all contents of the comment, and click OK.

Quality Assurance: Click the arrow in the lower part of the Quality Assurance icon to choose to run QA or to go to the Resolve Errors and Warnings tab. If you click the upper part of the icon, the Run QA dialog opens automatically.

oResolve Errors and Warnings: Opens the Resolve errors and warnings tab to review the list of QA and formatting errors and warnings in the project.

History section:

Row History: Displays the Row history dialog with a list of changes in the current segment. This command is available in documents under version control.

Revert to Earlier Version: Reverts a versioned document in track changes mode to the earlier version. The segment status changes back to Edited.

Track Changes: If the active document is under version control, and there is at least one earlier version, you can turn on the display of tracked changes. This button displays a menu with four options:

oOff: memoQ displays the latest version of the document; it does not show differences from an earlier version.

oAgainst Last Received Version: Displays the differences from the last version of the document that was imported on the computer from a bilingual file or a handoff or delivery package. Also shows the differences from the last tagged version.

oAgainst Last Delivered Version: If you are working on an online project or a handoff package, this option displays the changes since the document was last delivered (anywhere) using the Deliver command.

oAgainst Last Inserted Match: Displays the differences from the last inserted match in a segment and the match in the TM.

oExport Changes To Word to export changes to Word.

oCustom: Displays the Track changes against previous version dialog where you can choose an earlier version of the document from the full document history.

As this is the most usual operation, it is advised to always use the shortcut key instead. You cannot use this command if your project uses no translation memory. Default shortcut key: Ctrl+Enter.

oConfirm Without Update: Set the status of the current segment to confirmed, without storing the source segment and the target segment in the primary translation memory.  The only way to confirm a segment if you do not use a translation memory. Default shortcut key: Ctrl+Shift+Enter.

Quick Add Term: Uses the selected text in the source cell and the target cell to add a new entry to the highest ranked term base of the active project. Before you can use this command, you need to select a phrase both in the source and the target cells. If you have changed the selected term bases using Add Term, memoQ adds the term to all term bases selected. Default shortcut key: Ctrl+Q.

Add Non-Translatable: Displays the Edit non-translatable list dialog to add items to the default non-translatable list in the active project.
